I loved the sound of the rushing river next to the hotel. Some guests complained about the "noise" but it was a welcome sound for me and during the dry season the river is very low and quiet. Comfortable room with a view of the ruins and mountains. Friendly staff.

The property was a little hike up from the train station but wasn’t a problem as we get to explore the town. The room was clean and comfortable. Good breakfast was provided. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. They were able to arrange a ride to the train station to accommodate our luggage

My room was nice and clean, with a good amount of storage space. The area is quiet, while still being only a short walk away from the city center (2-3 minutes). The river view is very beautiful and relaxing setting, and can be enjoyed from the balcony / lounging area.

The front desk attendant always had our best interest! He helped us find a private taxi to take us around, and was also the lodge's honorary chef! Each morning he made our breakfast, which was fulfilling for our big days ahead!
